We highly recommend this hotel located in the center of the Pelourinho, Salvador both for the quality of the hotel and the warm welcome provided by the owners. We stayed at Hotel Studio do Carmo for 2 nights and it was a very nice experience. The boutique hotel is very close to Pelorinho (no more than 5 minutes walking) and to another lovely area (Carmo). So you can just walk around. Francesca and Massimo (the owners) are very nice as well as all the staff (concierge, bellman, ..).... more
