We spent 3 nights at the Backpackers Ceara and the hostel is recommended! The place is cheap with a good location and the staff is great :-) more

i spent my first 3 nights in brazil in the backpackers ceara and have to say that gisele and her husband made it easy for me to arrive in brazil. calm place in a loud city, good facilities, if people expect a private shower and a tv at their room just don't go to a hostel but to a hotel... more

Mercado Central is a good place to go in Fortaleza if you want to see most of what is available in Fortaleza all in one place. But, atmosphere wise I prefer to shop at the booths down by the beach on Beira Mar. As far as I could tell the prices weren't very different, if at all, between the two... more
