“Comfortable and good location”

Stayed here in the midst of the World Social Forum so lots of chaotic activity but this hotel was calm and comfortable...had five South American presidents staying so security was interesting ! Excellent desk and restaurant service, the manager made a special effort to get me in (4000 hotel rooms in the city, with 130,000 visitors for the Forum !).... more

This hotel is on the outskirts of the city and not at all convenient to the real hub of a beautiful city. It looks like a run down motel. My main problem is that they ripped me off through an on-line booking that I then cancelled, but is still charged to my Amex account...their on-line booking system is not to... more

It's expensive, the rooms are stinky. This is definetely NOT an Hilton Hotel. I was first put at the 13th floor (supposed to be the executive one ?) and the room was far below Hilton standards but quite decent. After 15 minutes they phone me from the lobby saying they made a mistake giving me the wrong room .. ??... more
