Hotel Rex is very basic, from its breakfast to rooms and services. Owner could speak perfect English, which was very helpful. Location-wise, it's very convenient... it's on the other side of the street from the beach, and walking distance from all sort of stores. My wife and I and another couple went to Piriapolis this February in between going to Santiago, Chile and Buenos Aires, Argentina.
