We had a stopover in Banjarmasin and needed a place to crash for the night before flying yo our next destination. The hotel is quite a drive from the airport, about 30-45mins. The location is quite central as it's on the river, but we felt Banjarmasin didn't have much to offer. We had a walk around the area as recommended... more

Located on Jalan Lamung Mangkurat, close to a shopping mall, bank and money changers, Aquarius hotel is a rather comfortable place to stay. Good service and courteous staff. The desk takes credit cards too, but bewarned, Visa usually cancels any card used in Indonesia, so it is a good idea to change money at a money changer. Rooms are ok... more
