It is certainly eccentric. And is probably overpriced. But still charming and I felt very comfortable and at home here. The staff were lovely. We were the only guests and had the entire place to ourselves. The gardens are charming. The cooking was surprisingly good. Even the cream tea was authentic. This place is invaded by mold. Great view from the premises but mold is everywhere. And please bring your own towel as you will have to pay to use one. more

The Drive Up - Via Karak/Bentong or Kuala Kubu Bharu? I found the route via Karak/Bentong is longer but a little less winding. Will help if your passengers suffer from motion sickness.
