“Two boring days in Mahaweli”

The hotel is ok, but the position is so wrong! When your driver leaves you at the hotel, you can only go to bed, there is no entertainment, you can't go anywhere because the street is bampy, no tuk-tuks, there is no walking path... My suggestion is to find some hotel closer to Kandy. more

We stayed at Kandy cottage one night and originally booked the most basic room. Upon arrival we were pleased to be upgraded to a bigger double room. The bed and sheets smelt a bit damp which was a shame but the shower had hot water and we had free, reliable wifi use the whole stay. We had an evening meal... more
