We loved everything about this hotel.Large well equiped rooms located in one of four areas.On the water's edge,amongst paddy fields,forest,cant remember the fourth.Lots of birds and wildlife.Crocodile,land monitor lizards etc.Very good restaurant above swimming pool area.Our only regret was we did not spend enough time there due to sight seing more

This hotel was a great place to stay. We had excellent and great service. The food was amazing and we went on a safari which was booked through the hotel. The view of Sigirya rock was incredible. more

We stayed two nights in a forest room at the Vil Uyana in October. The concept and location of this luxurious hotel is brilliant.
