We just returned from 5 days at La Corolina. The hotel itself is gorgeous - beach views on one side - backing up to rainforesty jungle - the views from the bar/dining area and other decks, seating areas looks/feels like my vision of paradise. We stayed in the Turtle Cabin, at the Tesoro Escondido, for two nights and wish it had been a lot longer. We were warned by Monique, the owner, that the waves, which roll under the elevated deck, would be loud. Within twenty minutes of arriving I was down for a two hour nap in the hammock hanging on the deck.... more
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Angela for several days while touring the Bocas region. The hotel is on the water just a few short blocks from nightlife and restaurants yet is quiet at night.
