We have stayed in Levuka Homestay for 6 days on Oct 2009. Our purpose of visiting Levuka was diving and it didn't disappoint me. I saw my first hammerhead shark in Wakaya and there were many pelagics in Levuka passage, we saw whitetip reef sharks/ eaglerays/ barracuda. Diving here was simple wonderful. Royal Hotel

The Royal Hotel is said to be the oldest hotel in Fiji, and it looks like a piece of history. I stayed in the main hotel, in a double "colonial" room in the back, with a wrap-around veranda overlooking the football field and the lush hills beyond. Caqalai was a great relaxing place where you are left do do what you like. There is no alcohol on the Island so bring your own from the mainland if you like. The meals are good and the Lovo on Sundays is fabulous. The snorkelling is great with lots of soft coral. more
