The on-line pictures are completely accurate. The beach really is that close. The hotel is well maintained and comfortable. The location is at the quiet end of the beach, with the town within walking distance. We would have stayed longer if we could have. more

Ate at the Coconutz Sports Bar and Eatery twice while in Costa Rica and the food was great! Not only the food, but being able to watch several different NFL Football games was fantastic. I'd recommend this Bar and Eatery to anyone traveling to Playas del Coco. You'll have a great time! more

We had a great time and would go back. Our 2 teenagers were able to stay active in the pool and at the beach with volleyball, pellet rifle target shooting, water polo and enjoying the wildlife. This is a large, all-inclusive hotel right on the beach. The place isn't cozy -- there are probably several hundred guests here -- but the place is relaxing and its wonderful restaurants fabulous. We recently stayed at this hotel. I would reccomend it. The owner is quite laid back but also very accomodating. The rooms are very nice, good A/C, nice clean bathroom, lots of hot water, even a TV although no cable. The beach is down the hill about half a kilometre.
