I recently got back from Costa Rica where I was fortunate enough to book two separate excursions with Vargas Tours. I took the Palo Verde river tour where crocodiles came right up to the boat as well as having white faced monkeys come into the boat. Really a super holiday experience. We were in a beautiful canopy suite. The service was excellent , the food was top of the line .The beaches are quiet and beautiful. We stayed at the resort a week before thanksgiving from the 18th-23rd. The hotel seemed pretty empty up until the last day when everybody started arriving for the thanksgiving week.
