Kennicott Glacier Lodge

This is a unique lodge due to its location. It is not near Glennallen although the mailing address confuses travelers because the McCarthy/Kennicott area receives twice a week mail via light aircraft from Glennallen. It is rather difficult to rate this lodge in the traditional fashion, as it is unique. First off, it is not located near Glennallen. It is in McCarthy, over 120 road miles from Glennallen. Reason for the address is that McCarthy does not have a post office, it receives mail twice a week via mail plane from Glennallen. This lodge... more
