this was the 1st international hotel built in TianJin, and it really shows. the view is great, but the rooms are badly in need of remodeling. here are some details: 1) there was not even a sign infront of the hotel that says "Hyatt." if you do not read chinese road signs in chinese, this place is VERY hard to... more

"Home Inn" (www.homeinns.com) is a chain of more than 100 two star hotels all over China - there are more than 15 in Tianjin itself. It is among the better two star hotels. We stayed at this hotel for one week in August during the olympics and it was really nice. The rooms were designed perfectly for tourist/business and very well equipped/furnished from international plug sockets to plasma TV screens in each main room.
