Had a wonderful week at Botany Bay Lodge, right opposite the fantastic Durban Botanic Gardens where we were working/attending an international conference. Stayed at the Southern Sun Elangeni Hotel for a couple of nights while on business. Well, I won't do so again. While the service at reception and the restaurants was excellent throughout, the room was very dull. This was my second stay at this guest house which is located in the suburb of Morningside and a stone's throw from the new stadium which was built for the 2010 world cup.
