You must try Dodo's restaurant in Scottburgh. It is just around the corner from MICA the hardware store on Scott Street. Small, Mauritian, family owned and run restaurant serving excellent food at extremely good prices. There are only a small number of tables which ensures excellent service and ambience. Blue Marlin is now over 55 years old and has managed to retain the air of friendliness and high quality of true service that is no longer present in many hotels. The accommodation is perfectly adequate albeit basic. This is well reflected in the prices charged. I fully recommend the bed, breakfast and evening meal package. Food appeared to be... more
