Slightly upscale hotel for Filipinos, mostly clean, good service, but: No thick blanket, no windows(!) no western style food, bed was a thin vinyl covered thing on a pallet. In my experience of Filipino city hotels thus far, there are two types: nice luxury hotels for tourists expensive enough to keep out the locals, and so-so hotels some of the locals can afford.
