Okay, that may be a bit of an overstatement, but I did make a rather serendipitous discovery. My husband and I drove out to Grand Canyon West Ranch after spending four days in Las Vegas at a conference. One can only take so many days of that constant ching-ching-ching noise from the slot machines, so the ranch was a welcomed... more

This was an amazing experience. I really cant understand how anyone could write a bad word about it. There was plenty of entertainment and also plenty of time to relax and take in the beauty of the place, which in my opinion is the whole point of the trip. The food was super , the place was unique and genuine... more

Helicopter in from Vegas for an overnight stay - this was the best bit by far!!!!!!! - we stayed in a tipi which was a mistake as we were frozen, lots of blankets supplied but no heater as stated on website - kept all our clothes on all night and we were perished. Sunset ride was a slow amble -... more

I booked a night here thinking it would be an experience of a lifetime... it's was rather a big bore... We got there around check-in - 3pm... there was nothing to do - we played horseshoes for about an hour... after that we just hung out in the room. We decided to do the sunset horseback ride - it was... more

We spend 1 night here and it truely is right at the foot of the Grand Canyon - fantastic views! We stayed in the "Traditional Tippee" which was great fun, came with a double bed, extra blankets and a light for the night, it was very windy when we were here so were glad of the extra blankets! In the... more

We just got back from an amazing trip here. If you are in Vegas and can make the overnight trip here - do it! We started off in Las Vegas and took a helicopter trip to the ranch. Seeing the Grand Canyon by Helicopter is not to be missed. It is the most amazing view in the world!!!! We stayed... more

First, let me say the Grand Canyon is awesome and is a must for everyone. Seeing it by helicopter was truly amazing and well worth every penny. Honestly, I would recommend it to all. HeliUSA's pilots were friendly and professional. It was my first time in a helicopter and I was terrified but their attitude and narrative as we were... more

Your visit to Las Vegas will be enhanced by an "overnight" stay at the Diamond Bar Western Ranch, Grand Canyon (by helicopter from Las Vegas). A wonderful experience, especially for non-USA citizens. Includes a mock gunfight, steak dinner, overnight in a wooden cabin or Indian-style tipi, campfire entertainment, a horse ride (optional at $55) and (an indifferent) breakfast the following... more

What a contrast to those huge Vegas Hotels. We opted for a 2 night stay at the ranch which, from what we understand from the staff, is quite unusual, as the menu was identical for the 2 days. We drove from Vegas and the directions were clear, although the last 7 miles were down an unmade road and was extremely... more

What a place to stay for a REAL authentic taste of the Canyon. We flew there and back by Helicopter from Vegas for an over night stay in a cabin, everything was beyond what we expected. The cabins were lovely - very ornate (loved the patchwork throw on the bed and rocking chair made of old horse cart wheels yee... more

We arrived after a long and tiring trip to be warmly welcomed by 'Casey the Cowboy'. He instantly took a shine to my 2 young children Oliver and Erin, and sang to them throughout the day. During the day we were treated to a 'gun shoot out' and a stunning sunset horseback ride (free for my 7 year old) across... more

This was our second stay at Grand Canyon West Ranch and we absolutely loved it! We spent two days and ALWAYS had something to do: horseback riding, horseshoe toss, roping, panning for gold, listening to the cowboy musicians and of course, an unforgettable helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon. I would highly recommend this to anyone! Just to clarify a... more

We drove from Las Vegas and had a very bumpy bumpy ride over the last 7 miles but it was worth it. The hospitality of the staff was a welcome relief from Vegas, and the welcome from Casey who sang his little heart out was stupendous. The cabins, food, flight over the canyon were superb. Saving now for our next... more

We were booked in to stay 2 nights before travelling on las vegas the website advertised, cattle branding, working ranch, cowboy cookouts, nature trails, wagon rides , horse rides, indian and cowboy stories, cowboy songs around the campfire. Our experience at the Grand Canyon West Ranch was just one of the many unbelivable experiences we had in Las Vegas! We were picked up from our hotel around 10.00am and were driven to the ranch, this was great because it meant we also got to go over the Hoover Dam! When we arrived at the ranch I was so... more

Helicopter ride to the ranch was spectacular! Flying below the rim, you could actually see into the caves in the canyon walls. The perspective was especially brilliant in the afternoon as the shadows made the colors sharper and ridges more defined. Arriving at the ranch we were met by a horse-drawn wagon and a real cowboy serenading us with his... more

After reading several reviews on the Grand Canyon West Ranch, I was a bit worried about what to expect. There was no need as this was the best ever experience I've had. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accommodate my husband and myself. We were originally booked to stay in a Tipi,... more

Stayed here half-way through our honeymoon. Fantastic location and really quaint two-person log cabins or tee pees. The overnight experience itself was brilliant – BBQ dinner, songs and stories around a camp fire in the evening and an early morning horse riding session which leads you to some fantastic views in Joshua Tree Forest. Slightly disappointing that the ranch doesn’t... more

My son and I took the heli there and back, staying overnight. It was, at least for me, the best part of our stay in Las Vegas. The horse riding was so different to anything in England. A different way of holding the reins, and long stirups, but a very convenient roping dally on the pommel. The horses all play... more

Booked directly through the ranch's website. Decided it would be fun to book a tee-pee - what they do not tell you on the website is that there are very limited bathroom facilities linked to the tee-pee (only an outsite chemical toilet and an outside sink). There is also a hole in the top of the tee-pee so if it... more
