We have stayed at the Esplenor resort several times overnighting on trips from San Diego to Sonora - it's about half way and conveneient to the border for an early start, southbound. The hotel is well established and rarelyt anywhere near full occupancy. But the staff are always helpful, the bartender welcoming and the dining room waait staff most friendly.... more

We only stayed here one night. The views were very beautiful and the resort is very pretty outside. The bed and pillows were pretty comfortable. There were bugs in the bathroom, and the crickets in the room were so loud they kept us up all night. The television was really old and fuzzy - they need to update to HD... more
