Unusual but good- try the Frida Kahlo entree...a poblano stuffed with squash blossoms and roasted corn. Delicious, accompanied by rice but not generous portion-wise. Get an app or plan on dessert. We live over 350 miles from Tubac and find time to dine at Melio's anytime we are within 75 miles of this restaurant. We take friends and family and have dined there approximately 20 times a year on average. No substitutions and how the chef likes to prepare it is fine with us! Just returned from 3rd stay at this resort in the quiet Tubac area. Restaurants and staff were wonderful. The rooms are beautiful. Golf course staff are great. We had a package for returning guests that included two rounds of golf per day and a good rate on the hacienda room with patio facing golf course. Wouldn't recommend it for families... more
