“Not a Three Start Hotel”

We stayed at the Isles of Glencoe on the 11th and 12th November. We were extremely disappointed and had paid considerably more than the £100 for 2 people/ 2 nights that a previous reviewer had paid. The only saving grace as far as we were concerend was the smiley and friendly staff. Our room was large and on the surface... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay in this delightful guest house on the side of the loch. Our room looked out over the water and up towards Glencoe. It was beautifully furnished. We were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed an excellent breakfast before setting off to climb a mountain. We are looking forward to returning in the future. more

People may say that this is an ordinary hotel which is set in an extraordinary location. And yes it is in some ways and not in others...... I've just spent a weekend there at the end of November at just over a £100 for a double room on a bed and breakfast basis for 2 nights. And for the location... more
