My wife and I have been to La Casita both times we were in Idyllwild and we tell all of our friends to go there. My husband and I have stayed in Idyllwild several times and are always pleased with Heritage House. It is the perfect getaway for a few days. Strawberry Creek Bunkhouse is what I would think of as a motel, with drive-up rooms, but from the inside, it feels like you're staying in a log cabin.
