First, the positive: The valet parking guys are really friendly and service minded. So are the people working in the restaurant/by the pool. And the pool area is really nice, although somewhat small. I booked this hotel because it was written up as one of the hotels you need to "Stay in Before You Die". I took my husband there as a weekend getaway. Staff were very friendly and helpful, except for one person when we were checking out who was quite the opposite. But besides him, they were good.When we checked in the gentleman gave us an upgraded room at no extra charge which was great. The room was very clean and roomy.
