The King and Prince is a gorgeous, historic hotel located on St. Simons Island. Our stay was perfect: friendly staff, great room, and a fantastic restaurant. This was our last stop on a three night four day drive to the sunshine state to drop my friend off for the winter, we had stayed at a couple of other nice spots the prevous nights but this place was by far the best. The staff could not have been nicer ; the accomodations and setting where just wonderful.... more

We had never been to St Simons and this place looked appealing from the outside and was clean and tidy inside. I suspect there are new owners, since there were a couple of people at a back table working on signs. We were greeted pleasantly, and had a friendly waitress.
