We stayed at this hotel during a holiday event. We arrived very late and the staff was more than welcoming even at this hour. The room couldn't have been cleaner..not a spec of dirt and the beds were soooo comfy! Stay here and you wouldn't be disappointed! more

We checked in at 8:30-9pm and we couldnt of been more pleased. Not only did we get a discount, but the staff was very helpful and very friendly. The room was very very nice... no weird smells, no dirt in corners... it was very clean and very nice. When you walk in, you see the plush bed with very fluffy... more

After being disappointed that the Starved Rock Lodge was sold out for the night, we tried two other locations. We actually checked in to the Grand Bear Lodge, but found the room as dark as a cave, the front desk unresponsive, and the only restaurant closed, so we went to Oglesby.
