Every Christmas season we meet relatives there from Chicago area - we come from further west - almost to Mississippi River so is a very convenient location - for the Sunday brunch. I have often had occasion to go to Hanks for meetings or with local groups. Hanks is a cute place, and the outdoor area is fun to visit, with the peacocks, hens and animals. However, the food is just bland and ordinary, and they always use frozen or canned vegetables. No excuse for that. Everything on the salad bar is... more
