The historic Stratford Inn sits in downtown Sycamore right on State Street. It's a great location, a short walk to shops & restaurants and a short drive to anything in Sycamore or DeKalb. Stayed at this hotel Oct. 24th. Location was good for what where we wanted to be. Rooms were clean, & beds comfortable. When using the pool however, the indoor "heated" pool was not warm. I agree with other reviewers that the staff here are the best part of the stay. They went out of their way to smile, be friendly and helpful.
