This Hilton Garden Inn is a good place to stay for someone wanting to be hear Chicago. It is as close to the interstate as you can get. It is also just 9 miles north of a great Spanish restaurant in Valparaiso called Don Quijote. The rooms are comfortable but the breakfast buffet was not too good. more

We like to take the kids to Splash Down Dunes each summer. I agree with the review from 2007 - the place needed work. This year (2008), it looks as if they got their act together. We stayed one night in the Gray Goose Suite and were pleased with everything about our stay. You can tell that Tim, the innkeeper, is an experienced innkeeper.
