We stayed after a day spent at Adventureland before attending the State Fair. The hotel was great! The rooms were very clean and the kids loved the pool and the hot tub. Stayed one night while visiting my son at Drake University. The hotel was in a nice location and the entire staff was very friendly. We spent 1 night here en route to Wisconsin. The hotel staff was fantastic; very warm and welcoming. There was a Manager's reception that afternoon with free beer, wine, and munchies. We came across this little restaurant on accident and couldn't believe how pleased we were! The food is not at all like anything around--and the portions are huge! The service was fun and personal, but not overbearing. To top off the service and food, they have a Bellini on the drink menu--I've yet to see that anywhere in Des Moines! more

We recently moved to Urbandale from the Grinnell area and are so happy to be able to have our favorite pizza available in the area. It is consistantly great, the toppings are always fresh and the staff friendly. None better! more
