I stayed at the Plantation Inn from 9/8/08 thru 9/17/08. This was a week after hurricane Gustav hit the area and I was there as a disaster relief volunteer. Don't let exteriors fool you. Emerald, located in one of MLK Blvd.'s many strip shopping centers is quite a welcome departure from Houma's "mainstream" fare.
