As with other reviews, request a river view well worth it. Overall hotel a little "tired" but staff were very freindly. A good base for exploration. more

some of the rooms had been recently renovated and we were lucky to get one of these. The room was very roomy with excellent bathroom facilities. Plus fridge and micro-wave, and we appreciated the good heating system as the temperature was below freezing outside. Very helpful owner who gave us good tip on resturants. more

These Guys Rock,.. They're keeping up a really nice place, & are very hospitable. Very Nice, Clean, Cozy, Very Reasonable. A coffee shop (Dunky-Donuts, 6am-9pm) right next door. Easy in, easy out, to see surrounding sites. short drive to Bar Harbor more
