We stopped here for 1 night as we were passing through Maine. It's not a fancy place, but it has everything you need for a comfortable night. The rooms were simple but very clean. Dining at Anglers ensured that we got our quota of fried food for the year. And man, was it good. Thinking (wrongly) that we might go hungry, we started our meal with two appetizers -- fried pickle chips and onion rings. Anglers Restaurant has been in this spot forever, and the food is as good as it ever was. Originally known as Light's Restaurant, it was sold a few years back, but the new owners kept the recipes, menus and value.
