I unexpectedly booked a stay at the Dearborn Inn while visiting in the Detroit area. I was pleasantly surprised to find the hotel was a historical Landmark, I believed built by Henry Ford. The Dearborn Inn was unique in its decor and felt museum like (Not a bad thing). The Front Desk and Cleaning staff were friendly, warm, and efficient.... more

The Arab American National Museum (AANM) is a must-see when visiting Metro Detroit. Visitors are welcomed into the beautiful space complete with columns, arches, mosaics, murals, a fountain and beautiful dome. My wife and I dined at Bistro 222 last night and we were delighted by the entire experience. I ordered the wild mushroom soup and I have to agree with Diego - I wanted to lick my bowl clean, but instead I just wiped it up with some fresh bread.
