Our trip lasted one more day than we expected, so we were looking for an inexpensive hotel in the Escanaba area, which is what we found. The woman at the front desk gave us a $49 rate! She was wonderful! She gave us directions to restaurants and a list of things to do in this little town. The room itself... more

The Stonehouse is a nice place to have a romantic dinner. The staff is very friendly. The food has always been very good! We usually stop for dinner every time we go through Escanaba without our children. (Its right on the highway!) My husband has a huge appetite and we often take a doggy bag home.
