I went in for a pastie after an exhausting day and just wanted 'food' before crashing out. I stumbled on this place and didn't really expect much and would have been entirely satisfied with mediocrity. But the pastie was wonderful, definitely homemade, and the desert was great too. Great place to relax with good food and friendly, spicy service. Not the tourist type place often portrayed in this city. Great bar burgers & upscale meals at a fair (inexpensive) price. a&b more

We stayed at the Hamilton last year with no issues. Not great but ok @ $59.00. This year we called to confirm total price, as recommended by the reviews. We were told that we had an upgrade to a king bed. I told them that we have 3 people and we needed two beds. They claimed they were sold out... more
