Whilst the staff were friendly the location at the very end of town may not suit those wishing to visit the sites. The food was poor but the staff were friendly. more

I went to Nepal to trek, but by accident came across a fantastic homestay in the old city of Bhaktapur, a World Heritage site about 20km from Kathmandu. Krishna House (www.krishnashouse.com) offers an unlimited supply of authentic, home cooked nepali food, excellent room facilities(including western toilet) and a very friendly family atmosphere in which you also have your own space.... more
