Checked in early afternoon and staff was very nice. Stayed one night as stop-off from the Natchez Trace going home. Perfect location off I-55N of Jackson, Ms. Hotel sets in a beautiful shopping complex (Renaissance Center). A few restaurants in the center (try PF Chang's); others can get pricey. this is a great burger! i don't consider the place rundown....but rustic, like the other poster mentioned. we always try to stop in for a mushroom swiss burger with onion rings whenver we're in the area! mmmm!!!! more

Wonderful hotel and wonderful staff. I choose Homewood Suites in Ridgeland everytime I am in Jackson, MS. Hotel has been updated since I first started staying there and it is even better. The staff is very accomodating with every request. Breakfast is great as well as the light dinner in the evenings. more
