Meramec Caverns

We went to Carlsbad Caverns last year and so I was expecting to be a little bored with Meramec, but was pleasantly surprised. Although the tour was a little less professional, we really enjoyed our short journey through these beautiful caverns. this was the worse hotel ever!! It was dirty and nasty, the door was broken and there were bugs in the bathtub. The towels were dirty looking and it smelled. The night life at the hotel was nothing but screaming and yelling. I would sleep in a ditch before I would stay there again. more
