This restaurant rates high with there food. They have some of the best mexican food I have ever had. They also have a full bar that makes wonderful mexican drinks. We stopped here a few weeks back for lunch on our way to Maine from Vermont. We ordered sandwhiches and I added the onion rings to my order. They were featured a lot over the entire menu. They definately have the bragging rights. They were home made and wonderful. Our service was a little slow but, it was lunch time.... more

You never know what to expect when dropping less than $80 a night on a room, but at the Newport Motel, I can say you get quality. Place was in very good condition- clean / comfy beds, clean bathroom, clean pool (only a few feet deep, but perfect to refresh yourself in), and hospitable owners.
