The elephants came through the lodge to eat mangos while we were there and so was National Geographic! Wonderful pictures of the wildlife, even got pics of a leopard! Lodge accommodations nice, each has a small porch overlooking the river. Full spa is very, very good. The food is the best. The bar area is comfortable, open, overlooks the river... more

We stayed at Mfuwe Lodge for 6 nights, and the affiliated Bilimungwe Bushcamp for 3 nights to celebrate our 20th anniversary. This was a wonderful experience in so many ways! November is when elephants visit the lodge to eat ripe mangoes from the large tree right off the lobby area. We saw families of baboons and elephants there (including babies)... more
