Given the Ethiopian context, meaning basic, the Mountain View is modern, clean and comfortable rooms, and absolutely fabulous views from all rooms. Great upper terrace to sit and watch sunsets. Unpaved, bumpy road getting there, but defintely worth it. Food is good, service friendly. This is definitely the best in Lalibela. more

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Jerusalem Hotel (formerly called Jerusalem Guest House). It was very reasonably priced and the room was big and clean. After a tough four day trek across 50 miles and significantly high mountains, I just wanted somewhere to be able to unwind and rest for an evening before heading off on the rest of our journey.
