The beach is nice although it does get crowded on weekends and holidays. The amusement park is NOT worth the money and is NOT family friendly. We have been going on vacation to Slyvan Beach for over 20 years. The State Park in Verona and beaches are the best in upstate New York. Over to Sylvan Beach town we have also been going there for many years to count. We love the location (next to amusement park and beach.) The food, drinks, entertainment all are superior.... more

My only reservation on writing this review is that if I tell you how fantastic of a place it is, I won't be able to book a room. Anyhow, the place is GREAT, from the rooms to the restaurant. Stayed here a few times now and have never been disappointed. more
