I have frequented this hotel a countless amount of times due to the sheer beauty and serenity of the surroundings. The first time I stayed here, I was greeted by Matt, who was both very warm and forthcoming, I knew that I would be here again...and again... If you are expecting a palace-like resort, this is not your place, but... more

My stay at the Inn at Stony Creek was a wonderful experience. The Inn is impeccably clean, the grounds lovely and the house very tastefully decorated. Bill did a great job of making our stay comfortable, informing us of local attractions and great places to dine. A delicious breakfast was served in the beautifully furnished dining room. I highly recommend... more

While attending a wedding in Warwick this July, we stayed in the Emerald Suite at the Ashford Cottage for 4 nights. Are we ever glad that we chose to stay here! It is spotlessly clean and the food is plentiful, varied and excellent. The rooms were large and interestingly appointed in many antiques. The bathroom was spacious and beautiful and... more

My fiance and I had really enjoyed staying at the Inn @ Stony Creek. The Inn is a beautiful house. They served a great breakfast every morning. The room was very comfortable. The innkeeper, Bill, is a great host. He always offered great recommendations for restaurants and other local attractions. We look forward to our next stay at the Inn. more

My boyfriend and I were on a spontaneous road trip when we happened across the Inn. I had been in the area and remembered reading something about it, imagining it's charm, and boy were we thrilled! The host was such a pleasure-he was gracious enough to accept our late night request for a room (he had just one left). The... more

This was a beautiful B & B set in a very picturesque and quiet part of the state. It was wonderful sitting out on the porch first thing in the morning watching and listening to the birds and drinking our coffee. Pluses about the place: Away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities, very cozy and comfortable, very... more

My girlfriend set us up with a one night stay, at the Inn at Stony Creek, as part of my birthday gift/weekend get-away. We had such a nice, relaxing time, that we both decided to stay an extra night, and call-in sick at work on Monday! Everything was perfect. The room we stayed in (Americana), was nice & cozy, and... more

Everything about our short stay at Inn at Stony Creek was wonderful: the room, the bed, the breakfast, the host. We'll definitely go back! more

A totally positive experience. We would definitely return to the inn. The Inn at Stony Creek has an extremely relaxing, bucolic atmosphere. The rockers on the front porch looking out to an old rock fence and large trees is just wonderful. The innkeeper, Bill, is gracious and affiable and prepares a great breakfast! more

Our family ate dinner last night with some friends and the food was delicious. The portions were large, lots of choices in entrees and salads. I especially liked the berry sorbet. The prices were reasonable for delicious, gourmet food. Our service was excellent. We'll be back. more

I wanted to take my new girlfriend to a weekend getaway. This was definitely the worst choice I could have made. I spoke with Matt, the owner/manager before booking the room. He told me that the restaurant was under construction but the rooms and grounds were very nice and country like. We wanted to leave as soon as we pulled... more

We (4-head-family from Switzerland) enjoyed a beautiful short stay in this lovely place in medium of nature, enjoying the quiet athomsphere. We were astonished about the traditional, personal furniture and we felt very good. The breakfast was always very good, the familiar athmosphere was great. We did some shopping in the nearby Premium Outlet (15mins; a lot of variety). The... more

As part of a 5 day trip to New York from the UK we decided to head upstate to the Woodbury Common shopping complex to make the most of the strength against the dollar. Bill was very helpful and drove us to and from the shopping centre, so we could get all we needed. This bed and breakfast is in... more

My wife and I loved our stay at The Inn at Stony Creek. We combined my birthday and Valentine's day and had a great time. We arrived a little early, but Bill had our room all ready. Our room was beautiful. We had a nice electric fireplace that kept us toasty. Everything in the room was very beautiful. The bed... more

We had a lovely stay at the Stony Creek Inn. The home itself was just beautiful with tastefully decorated bedrooms. Lots of great antique furniture. Breakfast was delicious and Bill the Inn Keeper and his staff are friendly and extremely helpful. Nestled in a charming town - it was a great getaway. We will definitely be back! more

My wife and I live in midtown and Manhattan and, over the years have managed to stay clear of all sorts of B & B's and Ye Olde Inns and such as being too precious and just too obtrusive. Who needs to make conversation with strangers over cheese and cheap wine? Well, we had to be in Warwick on a... more

Only 1 1/2 hours from NYC, but we felt like we were a world away. We went for a brief romantic getaway, and the Inn provided great ambiance. It was restored and furnished beautifully, with homey touches. We were in the Patriot Room, which was the smallest, but was cozy and comfortable, and clean! Actually, spotless. We peaked at some... more

We had a lovely winter weekend at the Ashford Cottage. We wanted to get out of the city for the weekend and go snowboarding. Terry was very accommodating and cooked some fabulous breakfasts for us.
