We are travellers in our late 50's who holiday abroad twice yearly. We stayed at the Silver Beach for 12 nights from 22nd November. This was our first time in Mauritius, and something of a departure from our usual Caribbean holidays. We flew direct with Virgin and the 12 hour flight passed surprisingly quickly. Arriving shortly after a cyclone over Madagascar meant we arrived to thick cloud, no sun and strong winds.... more
