This is a lovely remote resort in Bahia. Access is easy as the hotel provides free transfers from the local airport. The website pictures are accurate. The beach is lovely and deserted. The bungalows are large and private. The food is good but not outstanding. They have english menues but few staff members speak english (not really a problem) more

We stayed at Fazenda de Lagoa for 7 days during our honeymoon. I'm very happy that we were recommended to pick this place; the service, the bungalows and the food is really good. The Transamerica is undoubtedly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. It is set in a wonderful island full of palm trees, and it is just a couple of hours by plane from São Paulo.
