As an American this is a good place to ski in off season. There was the US, British, and Canadian ski teams practicing. The place is not 5 stars. Valle Nevado is a Skier's paradise. The snow is great-never icy, or slushy-just perfect. The resort is beautiful, convenient, and the service is great. The only think I can complain about is the Teleskis. Its the worst for snow boarders. It's designed for skiers, and some snowboarders can use it, but its very very difficult.
