My wife and I were on our return trip to New Jersey. We had been driving for about 10 hours and needed a place to stay to recharge. Not being from the area we stopped at the first hotel we came to in Elizabeth City. It was about 1030pm when we checked in to our room. What a mistake!!! No... more

Wildflower Cafe is a quiet little restaurant attached to a gardening store. The service is great, the staff is friendly, and the food is delicious. The chicken salad was especially delicious! I don't know if they've changed the recipe, but I can't wait to travel the 3 hours it takes me to get to Elizabeth City, just to have that... more

Room was as described and relatively large, clean also. Flat screen television. Walk-in shower, which is to my liking, instead of a tub/shower. Exercise room had excellent equipment and was a top notch room. Pool & hot tub are seasonal, closed in December. Breakfast offering was a bit disappointing thought the eating area was very pleasant. Internet worked flawlessly. more
