Tropical Storm Hanna landed near the border between North and South Carolina early Saturday morning. The hurricane watch for the Carolinas has been canceled, but tropical storm alerts cover the Atlantic seaboard from the Carolinas to Massachusetts. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here while visiting Lumberton, NC. After reading some of the reviews I was a bit concerned but I found none of it true. Not the best Country Inn we've ever stayed at but good enough for one night. The breakfast was not good and the area is definitely not the best. In fact we were approached and asked for money by a young obviously homeless man. Not many places to eat other than the old faithful Cracker Barrel. Okay for passing through. more
