Our Widowed Persons Group of Pickens County visited this plantation on a day-trip. The prepared meal was absolutely delicious. The tour of the house was very educational. The antiques were in excellent condition and were some owned by the owners grandparents, probably dating back more than a hundred years. The B&B bedrooms were extremely well decorated. If ever a couple were made to be hosts it's Peggy and Claude. They run a great B & B as well as a vineyard. The rooms are clean, well decorated and quiet. The rooms are a bit dated and need updating, but the amazing breakfast makes it worth the stay. If you can, request the blueberry pancakes - they're paper thin and melt in your mouth. more
