My wife and I found Carolina House quaint and our hosts very hospitable. Our room was more than adequately decorated, to the point of being cluttered. The breakfast was excellent, I had mentioned that we were early risers and coffee was ready at 6:30 for us. The only negative would be the 3 or more cats that roam the house.... more

A wonderful Victorian house, well restored and eclectically decorated. It is very clean and quiet. Toni is extremely hospitable and helpful with local information. Peter is the breakfast chef. No basket of dried bread here! I had a bowl of nine freshly peeled fruits. This was followed by apple crepes. Then! Then! White asparagus on toast with ham and hollandaise... more
